Location: Sanford Medical Research 2301 East 60th Street North, Sioux Falls, South Dokota 57104
Details: This is a three-day trip to Sioux Falls, SD and involves shadowing a medical professional at a research facility. Sanford is the fifth largest healthcare system in America and the largest rural healthcare system in the US. Along with the opportunity to shadow you will receive the opportunity to learn more about the Medical Laboratory Science Program. Sanford Medical Research REQUIRES all visitors to be vaccinated. You will need to show proof of your vaccination to the Career Development Center upon registering for the event. You will be driven in a university van and accompanied by Nicolette Yevich. Hotel accommodations will be made and roommates will be assigned after trip is full. Meals are covered by the participants. Due to the cost of the trip each participant must submit a check for $50 to reserve their spot on the trip (***credit card payment is also available, there will be a convenience fee of $3***). There are only 8 spots available for this trip; it is first come, first served. Register for the event on Handshake/Events.
